MK Strategy Update
The NBPPC met on the 17th of April to discuss the latest MK Strategy document that basically gives justification to Option 1 as a preferred development, and smacks of the whole exercise being predetermined to fit in with the original draft South East Plan that showed big arrows for development west and south.
However, NBPPC was mentioned with Option 8, to which Thornborough contributed to significantly. The latest update is www.mkweb.co.uk/mk2031 and I attach the Executive Summary document, further downloads are available on the site. I will be attending a Consultation Meeting on 26th April, next week in MK.
Others would be welcome. I have a number of tasks regarding this that I will relate to those interested. If you read the future proofing, there is none, and most development is likely to link MK with Winslow, as development East of the M1 has been completely disregarded.
On a positive note, Persimmon (owners of Westbury Homes) has withdrawn their Appeal to planning refusal to Area 10.4 (Whaddon Park). [ Download/View File ]
